Police told our crew on the scene an SUV crashed on Six Forks Road near Crestview Drive just before 3 a.m.
The vehicle snapped a power pole, authorities said.
The driver was rushed to the hospital. Authorities have not released that person's identity.
Police are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
