RALEIGH (WTVD) -- As the clock ticks down to finish Christmas shopping, malls were packed throughout the viewing area as part of 'Super Saturday.'

Shoppers hit the stores to not only cross items off their lists, but also to take advantage of deals being offered by retailers.

"There are a lot of deals. I can't get over how many deals there really are," one shopper told ABC11 at Triangle Town Center.

Some estimate more people will shop this weekend than Thanksgiving weekend.

50 percent of holiday sales are from clothes; toys come in second place.
