Sheriff's office truck crashes into car on I-85 in Durham

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- An animal services truck belonging to the Durham County Sheriff's Office crashed into a Toyota Camry on Interstate 85 North on Thursday afternoon.

It happened between the Highway 70 split and East Club Boulevard.

A woman was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Her condition was not immediately known, but she is expected to be OK.

The deputy appeared to be uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
