Raleigh police: Man shot, robbed on Newbold Street; injuries not life-threatening

RALEIGH, N.C. -- One person was injured in what police say was both a shooting and a robbery in Raleigh Thursday evening.

According Raleigh Police Department, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2500 block of Newbold Street around 6:52 p.m.

When officers arrived, they determined the incident also involved a robbery. Police said a man was found at the scene and taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
