RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Hurricane Harvey rescue dogs are being nursed back to health in Raleigh.

A group of volunteers rescued dozens of Chihuahuas in the days after Harvey devastated the Houston, Texas area. Many dogs were left homeless in the aftermath.

The Chihuahuas are now being cared for at the Six Forks Animal Hospital.

They will be put up for adoption when they are fully recovered.
