2 killed in separate, unrelated shootings in Raleigh and Wake County; 2 facing charges

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Raleigh Poice Department (RPD) and The Wake County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) have made arrests in two separate and unrelated deadly shooting investigations.

The Raleigh Police Department said a woman who was found shot early Saturday morning has died. She has been identified as 19-year-old Taliyah Watson.

Officers said the shooting happened around 12:22 a.m. on Sawyer Road near McMakin Street. According to officers, after being shot someone drove Watson to the hospital in a passenger car.

She later died at the hospital.

A'shante Freeman, 21, has been charged with murder in the case, RPD said in a news release.

Sunday evening officers arrested and charged Jordan Sanders, 23 with murder in connection with the shooting.

The Wake County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) confirms they've made an arrest in their investigation into a man's death after responding to a shooting early Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to the call in the 1700 block of Riverview Road around 5:50 a.m. Once on the scene, they found Abad Candela Robles,24, with a gunshot wound.

Police said Marvin Gasga-Camacho, 20, was charged in connection with the shooting and are investigating as a homicide.



Gasga-Camacho is being held at the Wake County Detention Center without bond.
