People who need shelter can still go to the Moore County Sports Complex - Recreation Center at 155 Hillcrest Park Lane in Carthage. It will stay open until noon Thursday.

The First Baptist Church in Pinehurst at 7373 NC Hwy 211, West End, and The First Baptist Church of Aberdeen at 700 North Sandhills Blvd in Aberdeen will have shower and laundry facilities available until noon on Thursday.
Food options
Meals will be available by Baptist on Mission from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for pick up only at these locations:
- Hillcrest Sports Complex: 155 Hillcrest Park Lane, Carthage
- Morganton Road Sports Complex, 100 Fire Lane, Southern Pines.
Meal service will end after that time.
Other services affected
- Moore County Governmental Offices will operate on a normal schedule
- The State of Emergency Curfew will expire at 5 a.m. Thursday
