"At this time, the degree of their association isn't known," a police spokesman told ABC11.

The shooting happened Saturday night at Morrisville Carpenter Road and Davis Drive.
The victims, two men, 30 and 21, and a 17-year-old were taken to a hospital and were expected to be moved out of ICU on Tuesday, a police spokesman said.
The suspects drove away in a dark-colored sedan.

Allen Simmons was outside eating with his wife Saturday night in Morrisville when he heard the gunfire. He said it took him back to his time in the military
Simmons served two tours of duty in the Marines; one in Afghanistan, and another in Iraq.

"Everybody was out with their families, you know, I feel like there were people driving through the area," he said. "When I heard the echo, it echoed within my soul in a sense ... like Afghanistan came to mind right when I heard it."
Simmons said he has been revisiting his time in the military with a therapist; he said with prolonged exposure therapy, he's been able to control and use his PTSD
"I try and maneuver the right way. I'm very vigilant. I love my PTSD at a certain point because it allows me to be hyper-vigilant," Simmons said, "I'm aware if the car circles around the area multiple times or just out of place so my PTSD helps me out in that area in this country, surprisingly."
Simmons is a Charleston native and has an 18-month-old daughter.
"It brings a lot of anxiety just to know that someone up the street -- they were just shot," he said. "When you bring awareness you bring preparedness. You help people become prepared for situations such as that. Do what you can to be prepared ...talk to your family about what to do if a situation like this happens in your vicinity ... what do you do. You don't want to run around because bullets fly, they go through the victim and other places."
