The fire was reported just before 6:15 a.m. in the 9500 block of Old Cascade Drive.
When crews arrived, they found heavy flames coming from the front of the home.
The man who lives at the house said his smoke detectors alerted him, allowing him to get out safely without injury.
Authorities said two firefighters were hurt and treated at the scene.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control within 15 to 20 minutes.
