2 men charged in connection with separate sex crimes in Wake County

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Deputies arrested and charged two men accused of separate sexual offenses in Wake County.

According to the sheriff's office, in July, deputies received a report of an alleged sexual assault against a juvenile in northern Wake County in 2024.

After an investigation, deputies arrested 78-year-old Gary Pag. He was charged with two counts of indecent liberties with children.

According to court documents, Page was ordered to "stay away from the home, temporary residence, and school of the alleged victim," and "refrain from communicating or attempting to communicate directly or indirectly with the victim."

Page was taken to the Wake County Detention Center, where he received a $25,000 bond.

Deputies also arrested a man on Wednesday in connection with a more than decade-old case.



Deputies said in March, they received a report of an alleged sexual assault against a juvenile that happened more than a decade ago.

Authorities arrested 46-year-old Jose Lopez-Perez (also known as Jax Lovez-Gabbanelli). He was charged with one count of taking indecent liberties with children.

Lopez-Perez was taken to the Wake County Detention Center, where he received a $50,000 secured bond.
