Investigators say the teen was taken into custody Friday and is believed to have been involved in the shootings that occurred in the Brier Creek area during the holiday weekend.
The teenager faces the following charges:
- Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill
- Two counts of Discharging a Firearm into Occupied Property
- Felony Riot
- Going Armed to the Terror of the Public
- Possession of a Firearm by a Minor
The arrest marks the sixth juvenile taken into custody in connection with the violence tied to the teen takeovers in Brier Creek and Glenwood South.

Police also announced Friday the arrest of a teen from Goldsboro, who was charged as an adult in connection with a shooting on Capital Boulevard during the July 4 incidents.
Witnesses who were in downtown Raleigh that night say the violence changed how they view the city's nightlife.
"I think it's good that RPD is finding them and holding them responsible because you can't just go outside and do whatever you want. There's rules you have to follow and walking around with a gun, we're just here trying to get a drink, trying to party," Raleigh resident Noah Trinidad said.
Despite the latest arrests, investigators say the search for suspects is not over. Raleigh police said detectives are still investigating two additional shooters believed to have been involved in the violence in Glenwood South.
The investigations into shootings at 700 Tucker St. and 620 W. Lane St. remain active.
