Juvenile charged with murder in Cumberland County shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A juvenile was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting last week, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.

The shooting happened Friday afternoon in the 100 block of Jacklyn Road and left 47-year-old Christopher Bradley Crocker, of Fayetteville, dead.

The juvenile suspect was charged with first-degree murder and was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

The sheriff's office said previously that the shooting did not appear to be a random incident.
