JACKSON HAMLET, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Moore County Sheriff's Office has identified two men who were shot and killed during the weekend at a Moore County home.

Family members say Antonio Brown was one of those victims killed Sunday night outside his home in Moore County.

Deputies arrived at a house in the 100 block of Gaines Street in the Jackson Hamlet area and found two men dead on the front porch.

Investigators believe the two men and the shooting suspect knew each other, and the suspect ran from the scene.

Those who knew Brown, 41, told ABC11 he was a good man who had been working to turn his life around. He was described as an "all-around person" and "talented in so many ways."

"He loved his family. He loved his children, always smiling," one person said. "I hope justice is served."

On Tuesday, the Moore County Sheriff's Office identified the second victim as Jamar Brooks Hailey, 43, of Aberdeen.

The sheriff's office said a person of interest has been identified but has not been located.

Autopsies will be performed on Brown and Hailey, the sheriff's office said.

"This remains a very active investigation, with a continued strong presence of Sheriff's Office investigators in the Jackson Hamlet community," the sheriff's office said Tuesday.
