RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A North Carolina State University IT specialist is showcasing his loyalty to the Carolina Hurricanes in a way you can't miss -- by turning his office into a tribute to the Canes.

Dan Cass has gradually transformed his workspace with Hurricanes memorabilia. What started as a small display has grown into a full-room showcase of team pride.

"It's been a work in progress, a labor of love," said Cass. "Being a part of the experience with the fans, the energy the team puts out. I love the nail-biting anxiety of winning or losing hockey. Let's get the series!"

Cass said the collection began modestly, with a few pieces of Hurricanes gear on one wall. In time, it expanded to include a hockey stick mounted on another wall and rally towels from games he has attended hanging from the ceiling.

"Any time someone walks in, usually they joke, wondering what team I'm supporting, and if I'm a hockey fan. That's usually the biggest question, which is pretty obvious. They also like to say that I have a little bit of a man cave here," Cass said.

His display continues to grow. Cass has already added new gear featuring the Hurricanes as they compete in the Stanley Cup Final.

The office, filled with team colors and memorabilia, reflects a level of enthusiasm shared by many Hurricanes fans who proudly support their team wherever they go -- even at work.
