Durham Police Department said it happened in the 200 block of Tobler Court at Sherwood Park Apartments off Cheek Road near Interstate 885.
The woman was taken to the hospital and was listed in critical condition
Shortly thereafter, a man with life-threatening injuries arrived in a private vehicle at Duke University Hospital.
Durham Police Department determined that both people were shot in the same area. The case is being investigated as a domestic violence shooting.
