It happened Sunday night on Sand Hill Road.
Fayetteville Police Department said the driver of the Dodge truck lost control, overcorrected and veered into the front of the McBrides' home.
"Never had I seen anything like that before. The garage was demolished and the Dodge Ram had ran into both of our cars and practically demolished them in our garage," Valonzia McBridge Jr. said.
Valonzia and Ethel were both upstairs when the crash happened. They're happy they weren't hurt, but worried about the cost of repairs.
"We have one new car that we had 6 weeks. It's just torn up," Ethel said.
In addition to the costs of repairs, the McBrides will need to find a temporary place to live. They expect repairs to make their house safe could take 4-6 months.
The driver was taken to the hospital. Their identity has not been released.
