Tuesday, a small memorial was placed along Western Boulevard where the cars collided. People have been leaving flowers, candles, balloons and handwritten notes.
Police are not identifying the victim, but folks who work less than a mile up the road at Cookout say their co-work Anthony was driving into work to start his night shift when he died.
According to coworkers, he was a manager at the restaurant and worked there for more than two years.
"Everybody really just trying to cope with what's going on at the job. It's a hard pill to swallow because he was a good worker," said his co-worker Tyrena Dyson.

Raleigh Police said there are no suspects in custody and that officers are not looking for a suspect.
Monday night, coworker Reyna Espino told ABC11 said she had worked with him for over a year.
"He was a hard-working man. He did everything," Espino said. "He did his best for everybody at work. Got a great attitude."
She came down to the investigation scene with her co-workers where they left flowers and cards and lit candles to honor him.
