The incident led the mall to close early for the day and put the nearby Greenwood School on lockdown.

Police said that after a search of the mall and surrounding area, three suspects were arrested along Cashwell Drive. Police said weapons were found on all the suspects.
Police arrested Jalil McDuffie, 21, De'Maj Oates, 19, and Tywan Bennett, 18, all of Goldsboro. They were each charged with attempted murder, discharge firearm in enclosure, going armed to the terror of the public, and carrying a concealed gun.
All are being held without bond.
Officials said the shooting was not random and all of the suspects knew each other.
No injuries were reported.
Jazlyn Rascon, who works at one of the stores in the mall, said she was off but came in to help close the store.

"Our store manager saw four guys running down the hall heard three to four gunshots and the bullet shells went into our store. So they had to do a whole investigation and had to leave the gate open. She had to go home and she called me to come in and close the gate for her."
Rascon also expressed safety concerns.
"I feel like (the violence) is getting worse here," she said. "I don't feel as safe working here at the mall anymore. I feel like kind of scared ... because we leave here late at night by ourselves."
Other schools that went on lockdown include Meadow Lane Elementary and North Drive Elementary. Edgewood Community Developmental School.
All of the lockdowns were lifted by 1:30 p.m.
