Owner Teresa Chandler said the incident was a difficult setback for the shop, which buys, sells and trades collectible cards such as Pokémon cards.
"I was devastated," Chandler said.
Surveillance video showed a person breaking the glass on the store's front door before running off after discovering an interior security gate. Chandler said that extra barrier prevented more extensive damage.
"It's really hard owning a trading card game shop because you have to worry about is my product going to be there tomorrow?" Chandler said.
She filed a police report, and the store is working to repair the door and add additional security measures. The business remains open, and no cards were stolen.

"I shouldn't have to worry about stuff like that," Chandler said. "Protect your stuff."
