Central NC to deal with bitter cold temperatures for days; snow flurries in Sandhills

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A dry, chilly weather pattern will be the rule through the Carolinas over the next 6-10 days. Temps will be solidly below the historical normal high of 59 and the normal historical low of 37.

Watch for some snow flurries in the Sandhills on Monday night but no accumulation is expected.

Sunday was a mix of sun and clouds, not as cool with a high of 53.
