Deputies haven't released many details but said they have been at a house in the 100 block of Swain Street since just before 12:30 Sunday. Sheriff Wayne Coats said deputies responded to the house on a well-being check after a call from the Hamilton Township Police in Ohio.

While at the house they found 37-year-old Blanca Lacortiglia dead inside.
A murder warrant has been secured against 43-year-old Jeffrey Myers Lacortiglia who was taken into custody in Ohio.
According to Robert Jordan with The Daily Record, the Hamilton Township Police Department in Ohio contacted the Harnett County Sheriff's Office Sunday morning and reported that a man from the area walked into their agency and told them he had shot and killed his wife in North Carolina.
The man then allegedly told officers, his wife's body was in the master bedroom of their Spring Lake home.
The Daily Record report says Jeffrey Lacortigilia went to his mom's house in Ohio and told her what he had done and she told him to turn himself in.
After deputies entered the house, they reportedly found a note that stated "I'm sorry. I love you," the newspaper is reporting.
