FAYETTEVILLE -- A group in Fayetteville put out a challenge to the same lawmakers who are trying to hammer out a state budget.
The North Carolina Association for Teacher Assistants is among several groups asking them to consider "Being a T.A. for a Day."

Organizers of Sunday's event in Cross Creek Park say legislators should find out just what it is T.A.s do for students and teachers.
