Executive Secretary, ABC Owned Television


Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Provides critical support to the President and General Manager and assists other executives by performing confidential assignments, coordinating daily schedules/calendars operations, and handling administrative duties
  • Assists in planning large, high-profile internal station events such as town halls, off-sites, team-building activities, and other station functions and meetings
  • Completes projects and a variety of special assignments by establishing objectives, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress; problem-solving, making adjustments to plans Act as an effective liaison between the Network and our distribution clients
  • Interacts directly with ABC11/WTVD senior executives and their support teams as well as representatives from the ABC Owned Stations, public officials, and the public in general, so ability to work well with people on all levels is critical

Basic Qualifications:
  • 4 years of administrative experience supporting executive level

  • Strong attention to detail in managing calendars, travel time, attendee confirmation for meetings, and other administrative functions

The Part-time Production Assistant is an entry level position. This position is an important member of the behind-the-scenes studio operations staff and will be responsible for filling multiple roles for live newscasts and digital events as well as creating high impact content.
