RALEIGH, NC (WTVD) -- Raleigh's City Plaza will be transformed into a music mecca this weekend, as the Hopscotch Music Festival returns to Raleigh.
Singers, bands, and songwriters will begin performing Thursday night. Doors open to fans at 6:30. The three-day music festival is expected to bring thousands to the City of Oaks.
More than 120 bands will perform including big acts like Erykah Badu, Andrew Bird, and Gary Clark Junior. The festival has been a pillar of Raleigh's music scene for six years now. Nearly half of the performers are from right here in North Carolina. The festival features rock, hip-hop, metal, folk, and electronic artists.
