Panda Express replacing eggs with corn in fried rice

A popular Chinese restaurant chain has temporarily modified one of its most traditional dishes.

Instead of eggs, Panda Express is using corn in its fried rice.

The temporary change is due to a national spike in egg prices because of the recent bird flu outbreak. Panda Express has also temporarily discontinued hot and sour soup.
