Nash County Sheriff's Office investigating murder

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The Nash County Sheriff's Office says it is investigating a murder that happened Monday in the 7900 block of Edwards Road north of Nashville.

Deputies were sent to what was first reported as a shooting, but when they got there they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The dead man has not been identified.
