RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Police said Wednesday they have charged a 16-year-old in a string of burglaries in Raleigh's Mordecai neighborhood.
Residents have told ABC11 they've been on edge because of the 10 reported break-ins that have happened since November. Countless valuables, electronics, and Christmas gifts have been stolen.
In all of the cases there was forced entry. A door was either pried open or kicked down.
Detectives said they have charged Quantez Laray Johnson with several counts of breaking and entering and possession of stolen property.
Police couldn't immediately say if Johnson is suspected in all of the cases.
