Boat explodes in Maryland, injuring 10

SOLOMANS, Maryland (WTVD) -- Authorities said a boat exploded on Saturday in Solomans, Maryland, injuring nearly a dozen people.

It happened at the Spring Cove Marina around 6:30 p.m. Authorities said the boat was filling up with gas when the blast happened.

Ten people were injured in the explosion, officials said. Three of the victims are said to be children.

It is not known what exactly caused the explosion. The victims' conditions are unknown.
