Body found in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The Raleigh police department is investigating after a body was found down an embankment along I-440 in the area of Capital Boulevard.

A department spokesperson said detectives found the body while conducting a follow-up investigation. No other information was given.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. Police said initial indications don't show foul play.
