Body found near South Saunders Street in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are conducting a death investigation after finding the body of a man Saturday evening.

Police said they responded to a call just before 8 p.m. in a wetland area off the 1800 block of South Saunders Street.

No signs of foul play were apparent, according to authorities. The man's remains were taken for further examination.

His name was not released.
