RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Customers at Quail Ridge Books got quite the surprise Sunday afternoon when a car plowed into the front of the building.

Police said an elderly woman accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes, sending her car careening through the entrance.

Luckily, no one was injured. Police did not say if charges will be filed.

The store tweeted that they are still open, and instructed customers to enter through the back of the store or through their "friendly neighbors at Rite-Aid."

Quail Ridge Books announced earlier this month that it's leaving the Ridgewood Shopping Center and moving to a space in North Hills. The store has been at its current location for nearly 20 years.
