FORT MYERS, Florida (WTVD) -- The Coast Guard got an unusual radio call from the crew of a sailing boat off the coast of Forty Myers, Florida.
The said a dolphin leaped into the dingy being towed behind their boat and got stuck.
The Coast Guard rushed over and got the dolphin back in the water. It said the animal was very calm and seemed to just be waiting for assistance.
Once back in the water, it swam away. Why it jumped in the boat to begin with remains a mystery.
