Explosion sparks house fire on Megan Court in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Firefighters in Fayetteville believe an explosion sparked a house fire Sunday afternoon.

It happened in the 700 block of Megan Court off of Cliffdale Road.

Investigators believe gas may have caused the blast which blew out some windows.

Three people were displaced by the fire. The Red Cross is assisting the family.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.
