Fayetteville crews battle major house fire

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville crews battled a house fire in the 300 block of Hawley Lane early Sunday morning.

When units arrived at around 3:30 a.m., the house was fully consumed by the fire.

PWC says the home had no electricity, but it's still not clear if anyone was inside.

Crews worked to protect neighboring homes and bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
