FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville Police Department said Friday it has charged a 20-year-old female soldier in Wednesday's shooting death of a Fort Bragg soldier.

Spc. Justin Moore, 21, was gunned down in the parking lot at the Lake in the Pines apartment complex on Tamarack Drive around 11:40 a.m.

Detectives have arrested Spc. Adacia Bruton, of Pittsboro, and charged her with first-degree murder.

Police did not disclose the relationship between the two.

Bruton was being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

Moore was assigned as a water treatment specialist with the 189th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 82nd Sustainment Brigade. He joined the Army in 2011.
