DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham firefighters faced heavy smoke and flames at a severe house fire on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said it happened around 12:45 p.m. at 1502 Fayetteville Street. Although the fire was under control quickly, fire officials said the two-story house is a "total loss."
The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
