Firefighters respond to brush fire in Franklin County off Hwy 401

FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Firefighters responding to brush fire in Franklin County off Hwy 401 and Tarboro Road. That's between Youngsville and Bunn.

The flames appeared to be moving swiftly through the wooded area. There did not appear to be any structures in the brush fire's path.

Breezy and dry conditions, like the weather on Wednesday, make brush fires harder to extinguish.
