It happened around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection Stanton Hill Road and Graham Road close to Cameron.

Moore County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Frank Rodriguez said the helicopter was used for agricultural spraying.

The helicopter was just lifting off to spray a field when the pilot encountered mechanical problems. It crashed, but the pilot was able to walk away from the wreckage. EMS treated him at the scene, and he was transported to Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
