RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Emergency workers went to a drowning call at the north Raleigh home owned by the daughter of evangelist Billy Graham.
Pictures from Chopper 11 showed emergency workers loading a man into an ambulance.
It happened on Ponderosa Road off Creedmoor Road.
A post on Anne Graham Lotz's Facebook page said that her husband, Danny Lotz, was found unresponsive in their pool around 3:45 p.m on Monday.
He was taken to the ICU.
Danny Lotz was a member of the 1957 Tar Heel basketball National Championship team. He was a forward on the team which went 32 - 0 that season.
Lotz has had chronic health problems for some time.
"Ambulance has been there a couple times over a couple of years," said neighbor Jim Rugloski. "I always keep thinking 'I wonder if Billy Graham is there,' and something, you know."
A close family friend of Danny Lotz confirmed that he has been battling diabetic seizures, but it is unclear if his illness played a role in Monday's event.
