DURHAM (WTVD) -- Authorities in Durham are investigating a man's death after he was found in a bullet-riddled car near Durham Regional Hospital early Wednesday morning.
Officials said 26-year-old Kenneth Bernard Covington, of Durham, was killed just after 12:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Carver Street between North Roxboro Street and Crabtree Avenue.
Investigators said they believed he was shot while driving down the street and that the incident did not appear to be random.
Police said Covington had no criminal record.
No charges have been filed at this time. Further details surrounding the case have not been released.

It is the Bull City's sixth shooting since Friday, but the first fatal incident.
