Man killed in Cumberland County shooting
FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office says a man was shot and killed on Ireland Drive early Saturday morning.
Just before 4:30 a.m., deputies say Dekendric Graham, 31, of Camden Road in Fayetteville, and another man were given a ride from the Zero Degreez Nite Club on Cumberland Road to the home of a friend in the 24-hundred block of Ireland Drive.
According to witnesses, Graham had argued with someone at the club before he left.
As the two men stood outside the Ireland Drive residence, two men wearing ski masks rushed up to Graham and shot him with a .45 caliber semiautomatic handgun.
The gunman and his accomplice fled the scene in a small dark-colored vehicle.
Graham died later at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
