NCSU students paint mural for slain UNC students

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The NC State Muslim Students Association spent Sunday evening painting a mural for the three college students murdered in Chapel Hill.

Deah Barakat, Yusor Abu-Salha, and Razan Abu-Salha were shot and killed in their Chapel Hill apartment on Tuesday.

The black and white silhouettes were painted in the Free Expression Tunnel on campus.

"We hope their families see it and NC State learns from the tragedy and nothing like this ever happens again," said Ali Sajjad, a member of the NCSU Muslim Students Association.
