FORT BRAGG (WTVD) -- More than 70 Fort Bragg Paratroopers and their families are waking up happy after an overnight homecoming.

Members of the 82nd Airborne Division arrived back at Pope Army Airfield just after midnight Friday after serving a nine-month long deployment in Iraq.

They left last June, and were there in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq.

Welcome home to those men and women, and as always, thank you for your service!
