Recycling truck fire closes ramp from I-85 northbound to the Durham Freeway

DURHAM (WTVD) -- The ramp from Interstate 85 northbound to the Durham Freeway was closed for about a few hours after a recycling truck burst into flames Thursday afternoon.

Initial video from the scene showed the truck fully involved and several small explosions could be seen.

No injuries were reported.

The ramp reopened around 7 p.m.
