DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a report of a sexual assault near Duke University's campus Wednesday morning.
A Duke Alert sent to students, faculty, and staff reported the attack happened around 10:10 a.m. on Swift Avenue between Campus Drive and Duke University Road.
The victim told police a man grabbed her by the arm and took her into the woods at knifepoint.
He then sexually assaulted her, police said.
The suspect was described as a clean-shaven black male around 24 years old. He was reportedly wearing jeans, a gray t-shirt, and a black flight jacket with a hood.
