Small fire quickly doused at Raleigh hotel

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire at the Holiday Inn in the 2800 block of Highwoods Boulevard in Raleigh.

The six-story building was evacuated just before 2 p.m. Thursday.

The blaze was reported in a third-floor area.

Fire officials said it started in a wall heating/air conditioning unit and was accidental in nature.

No injuries were reported.
