Soldier shot to death in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are investigating a deadly shooting at the Lake in the Pines apartment complex on Tamarack Drive.

Investigators responded to the complex around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said 21-year-old Justin Moore was shot in the parking lot. Moore was a soldier based at Fort Bragg.

Authorities say the suspect, who has been described as a black male with dreadlocks, was seen fleeing the area in a dark colored sedan.

So far, no arrests have been made.
