Suspect, victim identified in Wilson murder

WILSON, NC (WTVD) -- The Wilson Police Department has charged a 16-year-old with murder in the death of a woman Saturday night.

Police identified the victim as Donna Lynne Davis, 55, of Wilson.

The woman's body was found just after 9:30 p.m. lying in the intersection of Vance Street and Maplewood Avenue.

There was a physical altercation between the two, according to authorities.

Police identified the suspect as 16-year-old Albert Henry Jones III. He was taken to the Wilson County Jail without bond.
