Trooper hit by car in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A State Highway Patrol trooper was hit by a car in Durham Sunday morning.

It's unclear if she was in her cruiser at the time, or standing just outside it.

It happened on Interstate 40 eastbound near N.C. Highway 55.

Durham police said there was only damage to property.

The trooper was not seriously hurt.
