DURHAM (WTVD) -- A truck caught fire on Interstate 40 west in Durham County Thursday afternoon sending flames high into the air.
Officials said it appeared the truck suffered a brake problem, causing overheating, which led to the fire.
The truck driver was able to get the cab unhitched to keep the fire contained to the trailer section.
Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire once they got their equipment set up.
No one was hurt.
